Born and raised near Boston, Michael Regan was educated at Boston College and Duke University,
where he received degrees in economics and public policy. In the late 1980s and early 90s, he worked to support an international dialogue
on democracy and development in Central America, contributed to a long-shot presidential campaign, and directed a consulting
group that specialized in government-sponsored environmental programs.
In 1996, Michael followed some inner promptings to leave his work and when life conspired to
bring about a profound shift in perception of reality. Through an interior event usually associated with mystics,
a more raw, intimate and fresh connection with life began to unfold. In his revisioning work, Michael created space
for nonprofit leaders to connect with their unexplored depths, to challenge conventional habits of mind, and to actualize
new possibilities in their work for social change.
In
1998, Michael took part in an exploratory dialogue with some pioneers in the fields of organizational learning and innovation
when a state of deep listening led to a further, more radical shift in which all self disappeared. In that absence,
a luminous, divine reality was revealed. As the evening unfolded, other attendees began resonating with a catalytic energy
that emerged in the room, and experienced first-hand how how the divine essence can flow into the world around us.
After
an extended period of solitude and adjustment in northern New Mexico, Michael began sharing a fresh vision
of awakening and transformation through public talks and intensives around the country. Meanwhile, he continued experimenting
with new forms, including river adventures in Canyonlands National Park and Dynamic Oneness Gatherings.
Michael's offerings draw on a unique combination of deep listening, inquiry, dreamwork and action/movement
as a way to connect with the source and to build capacity for working with the creative essence of life. His gatherings
are available to people from all backgrounds who are dedicated to awakening the deepest gifts and potentials of the heart.
